Details regarding direct travel within the province and to other countries

Our rates include the following for direct trips within the province and to international destinations

The Direct Travel Service (Province/International) includes:

  1. the round-trip ticket,
  2. accompaniment of the young person from the moment they leave the provincial town by a member of the LEC team, whether by train, bus, boat, or plane
  3. the bus transfer to the resort

The same service is available for return trips to the provinces. Direct trips between the provinces and international destinations are available provided there are at least 10 participants departing from the same provincial city.

Details regarding flights to Europe, the U.S., Canada, and Australia

In some cases, due to the schedules set by airlines, flight rotations, and safety requirements—particularly during peak travel periods—we would like to point out that both departures and returns may take place either very early in the morning or very late in the evening.

Details regarding departures from the provinces

Direct travel and pre- and post-trip transportation from provincial cities are optional additional services offered by LEC, separate from registration for the language study program. In the event that the number of participants registered for a trip or pre/post-trip transportation departing from a city in the provinces is insufficient (fewer than 10 participants), or in the event of scheduling conflicts between SNCF or airline schedules and connecting flights to international destinations, or if train seats are not allocated by the SNCF or airplane seats by the airlines, or in the event of a strike by the SNCF and/or the airlines, LEC will do everything possible to offer a departure from a city near the one chosen at registration or, failing that, a departure from Paris. In all cases, registration for the language study trip will remain valid for departure from Paris; the only service canceled will be the optional additional service consisting of direct travel or pre/post-trip transportation from outside the Paris region.

Parents must ensure they are present to pick up their child(ren) on the day of return at the designated meeting point and at the time specified in the information previously provided to them by LEC. LEC shall not be held liable under any circumstances if parents fail to appear.

Any registration request accepted less than 30 days before departure will be processed subject to the availability of shipping, rail, and air carriers, and travel fares for these late registrations may be subject to surcharges based on the increases applied by the transportation companies.
