Middle School Trip to England – Adventure Program

English classes and thrilling outdoor activities at a beautiful English school Ages 11–14 / 14–17 – 6th through 11th grade

The Middle School – Adventure Program is designed for anyone who wants to study at a superb English middle school and, in addition to three hours of English classes per day, dreams of enjoying thrilling activities (e.g., rock climbing, canoeing, paddleboarding, archery, mountain biking, tree-top adventure courses, etc.) in complete safety, while also enjoying a wide variety of leisure activities and relaxing evenings.

Accommodation

  1. BeautifulBritish secondary schools, carefully visited and selected by our teams
  2. Comfortable rooms with 1 to 4 beds (and sometimes 4 to 6 beds for younger children)
  3. You can stay with one or more friends
  4. On campus, high-quality sports and educational facilities: green spaces, a gym, sports fields and playgrounds, a swimming pool, a theater, etc. (depending on the location)
  5. Modern and comfortable classrooms
  6. Full board with hot meals for lunch and dinner ( on excursion days, packed lunches are provided)

Class

  1. 3 hours of class per day, in the morning
  2. Classes of 12 to 15 students, formed based on a placement test
  3. Interactive courses for significant improvement in both writing and speaking
  4. Practicing speaking skills to build self-confidence
  5. Grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and listening comprehension
  6. Practical exercises, press reviews, discussions, role-playing, etc.
  7. Classes taught by a team consisting of an English-speaking teacher and a bilingual teacher, combining a variety of teaching approaches
  8. Submitting a trip report

Supervision

  1. English and French teachers and activity leaders available 24 hours a day
  2. 1 adult for every 12 children
  3. 1 French director on site, available to parents
  4. Priorities: progress in English, youth safety and well-being

Activities and Recreation

  1. 3 afternoons a week featuring 3 hours of outdoor adventure sports conducted in English ( see details below)
  2. 2 to 3 afternoons of recreational activities per week, led in English. Each day, the young person chooses what they’d like to do from the following options ( depending on the location):

Sports, such as: swimming, soccer, dance, volleyball, basketball, Olympic-style games, table tennis, golf, cricket, badminton, bowling, etc.
Art and leisure activities, such as: drawing, escape games, scrapbooking, arts and crafts, etc.
Cultural visits, such as: the Roman Baths in Bath, the University of Oxford or Cambridge, the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, etc.

  1. One day trip per week, such as to Bath, Cambridge, London, Oxford, or Bristol, etc.
  2. Every evening, supervised activities such as: LEC Party, karaoke, trivia night, talent show, casino night, giant "Draw and Win," BBQ party, fashion show, social games, and more.

  1. 3 afternoons of 3 hours each week of outdoor recreation and adventure sports, led in English
  2. Enjoy exciting activities in a safe and fun environment, such as: tree-top adventure courses, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, mountain biking, archery, rock climbing, scavenger hunts, and more , led by professional English-speaking instructors
  3. Participation in real team challenges, such as building a raft or a bridge, which require critical thinking, precision, and teamwork
  4. Experience unforgettable moments in a beautiful natural setting

Note: These trips are reserved for young people who can swim and ride mountain bikes
