England - July, August - for students in 6th grade and up

The Music School program is offered as part of middle school study abroad programs in England.

The Music School Theme in Detail

In addition to language classes:

  1. 3 art workshops (music and/or singing) for 3 hours per week, in the afternoon
  2. A program designed for both beginner artists (musicians and/or singers)and experienced artists
  3. Music and/or singing lessons taught in English by experienced instructors 
  4. Choose from the following:
    Music lessons to learn one or more instruments (drums, bass, piano, percussion, guitar, keyboard, etc.), focusing on sound, various techniques, rhythm, and more, either individually or in a group
    Singing lessons to perfect technique and vocal delivery, focusing on current English or American hits—from Taylor Swift to Harry Styles—developing tone, mastering breathing, improving pitch, etc.
  5. Production of a show at the end of the stay

In addition to music and/or singing sessions

  1. 2 to 3 afternoons of leisure activities, led in English, during which students choose what they’d like to do from a wide range of options, such as:
    sports and artistic activities: tennis, swimming, soccer, dance, drawing, volleyball, basketball, Olympic-style games, scrapbooking, golf, escape games, cricket, arts and crafts, badminton, bowling, etc.
    cultural visits, such as (depending on the location): Oxford or Cambridge University, the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, etc.
  1. One day trip per week, such as to Cambridge, London, Bath, Oxford, or Bristol, etc.
  2. Every evening, there are supervised activities such as: LEC parties, karaoke, trivia nights, talent shows, casino parties, giant "Draw and Win" games, BBQ parties, fashion shows, social games, and more.
  3. Supervision ratio of 1 adult to 12 children
