Louis R.Malta, 2025Those two weeks in Malta flew by… There’s nothing more to say. The staff, whether French (LEC) or local (IELS), was perfect. The counselors were always there to help whenever we needed them. We were all a bit nervous about the three hours of class every morning (except on weekends), but in the end, we were pleasantly surprised and reassured: the Maltese teachers are all lovely and have a clear accent. We also really enjoyed the activities offered. Sightseeing, the beach at least every other day, and field trips… Finally, I made a lot of new friends during this trip, which will remain a memorable experience for me. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend LEC and go back with them!

The brochure and website made it easy for us to choose a trip, as the information was comprehensive and the follow-up after registration was efficient. The organization, from the departure station to arrival at the site, was good. Harry really enjoyed the atmosphere throughout the trip, the three friends he shared a room with (spartan but clean), the tree-climbing, archery, and paddleboarding activities, the friendly counselors, the evening activities, and all the laughter. The meals were perfectly adequate and plentiful. Just one minor criticism regarding the English classes: they seemed fairly easy (he is 15 and was in the older group). We would have liked him to face more challenges during the three daily hours. Harry wants to go back next year, and without hesitation, we’ll choose LEC! Thank you to all your teams.

Mother of Damien and Romain H.England, 2023Great website for booking language camps. My son Romain H., who is currently 17, is heading off for the third time for a 13-night stay in August with LEC at a video game-themed middle school; this time he’ll be accompanied by his brother Damien, 15, who can go to the same place but will be participating in the multi-activity program. Everything is very well organized—transportation, accommodation, activities, and morning classes really help our kids improve. Plus, all the counselors run the activities in English, but don’t worry—your child will always find a counselor or another kid to help them understand. Romain went for the first time for 8 days with his family at age 13 in April 2019, with classes and activities at a middle school (there was another student with him), but he found the trip too short because you have to factor in travel time. So his second trip in July 2022—unfortunately without his brother, who had COVID—was at the middle school and lasted 13 nights. Romain was delighted with the location, the students, the staff, and the Video Games theme, so this year he’ll be going to the same place.
