Tip #1: Give us a call
Tip #2: Campus or host family—how do you make the right choice?
No one type of housing is better than another. The right housing is the one that best suits your child’s personality and preferences. It’s the onethat will makethem feel most at ease.
In middle school, on campus, and in dorms
Choosing a program that includes accommodation in a school dormitory, campus, or residence hallallows young people to experience life in a shared living environment, make many friends, and live alongside them, all while benefiting from the reassuring presence of English-, German-, or Spanish-speaking staff (depending on the program chosen), as well as French-speaking staff available 24 hours a day.

With the family
Choosing a homestay offers the opportunity to participate in your hosts’ daily life and gain an insider’s perspective on the Country customs, traditions, and way of life.
If your child is more inclined to choose this type of accommodation, and even though they may choose to spend their stay as the only French-speaking youth in the host family,we strongly recommend that you request they be placed with another French student from the group (who could, of course, be a friend, brother, sister, etc.). Experience has shown us that during a first stay, the presence of another French student within the host family will greatly reassure your child, promote their personal growth, and thus enhance their language learning.
Tip #3: Consider a themed vacation
This will allow your child, in addition to language classes, to engage in an activity they particularly enjoy and thus shape the focus of their stay: a great compromise for young people who are a bit reluctant at the idea of taking classes during vacation. Some examples of available themes: horseback riding, a tour of the Harry Potter Studios – Warner Bros., dance, music, surfing, exploring Los Angeles, soccer, video games and esports, etc.
