England - July - August - for students in 6th grade and up

This program, offered at a boarding school in England during July and August, is designed for anyone who wants to study at a superb English boarding school and, in addition to three hours of English lessons per day, dreams of fully pursuing their passion for video games and esports, while also enjoying a wide variety of outdoor recreational activities and evening social events.

The Video Games and Esports Track in Detail

  1. 3 two-hour sessions per week, conducted in English to have fun while building vocabulary related to video games and esports:
Team games or VS fighting games on PS4, Switch, or PC
Cooperative games to encourage language exchange and foster team spirit (Overcooked, Moving Out, Tied Together, etc.)
Tournaments and challenges featuring the most popular video games (FIFA, Street Fighter, Mario Kart, …)
    – Supervised sessions in English and guidance from a bilingual instructor passionate about video games and esports

In the best interests of the children, we limit sessions to two hours in order to reduce screen time and allow them to enjoy other recreational activities (sports and outdoor recreation, arts and crafts, etc.) in the afternoon.

  1. 2 to 3 afternoons of recreational activities, led in English, during which students choose what they’d like to do from a wide range of options, such as:
sports, such as: tennis, swimming, soccer, snag golf, dance, volleyball, basketball, Olympic-style games, bubble soccer, ping-pong, golf, cricket, badminton, Zumba, bowling, etc.
arts and crafts, such as: drawing, escape games, scrapbooking, origami, applied arts, etc.
cultural tours, such as (depending on the location): Oxford or Cambridge University, the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, the Roman Baths in Bath, etc.
  2. One day trip per week, such as to Cambridge, London, Bath, Oxford, or Bristol, etc.
  3. Every evening, there are supervised activities such as: LEC parties, karaoke, trivia nights, talent shows, casino parties, giant "Draw and Win" games, BBQ parties, fashion shows, social games, and more.
  4. Supervision ratio of 1 adult to 12 children
