England - July, August - for students in 6th grade and up
The Theater program is offered as part ofmiddle school study abroad programs in England.
The "Theater" Theme in Detail
In addition to language classes:
- 3 classes of 3 hours each per week, in the afternoon, taught in English
- A program suitable for bothbeginners andexperienced youngactors
- Dynamic theater classes taught in English by experienced drama teachers
- Introduction tothe Interpretation of English Literature
- Work on projection, movement, improvisation, and other techniques to bring a text to life in front of an audience and get into character
- Production of a performance at the end of the stay

In addition to theater classes
- 2 to 3 afternoons of leisure activities, led in English, during which students choose what they’d like to do from a wide range of options (depending on the location):
– Sports and artistic activities: tennis, swimming, soccer, dance, drawing, volleyball, basketball, Olympic-style games, scrapbooking, golf, cricket, arts and crafts, escape games, badminton, bowling, etc.
– cultural tours (depending on the location): Oxford or Cambridge University, Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, etc.
- One day trip per week, such as to Cambridge, London, Bath, Oxford, or Bristol, etc.
- Every evening, there are supervised activities such as: LEC parties, karaoke, trivia nights, talent shows, casino parties, giant "Draw and Win" games, BBQ parties, fashion shows, social games, and more.
- Supervision ratio of 1 adult to 12 children
