A Summary of the English Summer Camp in France
Highlights of the trip
English language camps in France offer children an experience that combines progress, fun, and discovery in an English-speaking environment, with full immersion in the English language, all while staying in France.
Accommodation
- At one of our beautiful campuses where life is conducted in English: the Marmoutier Institution on the banks of the Loire or the Domaine du Chambon – Sports and Nature Center in Charente or the Domaine de Valrance in Aveyron

- You can stay with one or more friends
- High-quality facilities and a wide range of amenities (depending on the campus): gym, green spaces, sports fields, auditorium, etc.
- Modern and comfortable classrooms
- Full board with hot meals prepared on-site, mainly using local ingredients

Bilingual instruction
- English-speaking teachers and activity leaders available 24 hours a day
- 1 adult for every 12 children
- 1 French director on site, available to parents
- Coaching in accordance with Youth and Sports standards
- Priorities: progress in language learning, safety, and the well-being of young people
English lessons
- Introductory English classes, taught in the morning by a team composed of bilingual teachers
- Interactive teaching methods specifically designed for elementary school students
- Three hours of class per day, in groups of 12 to 15 students organized by level: role-playing, songs, music workshops, flashcards, memory games, stories, and fables, etc.
- A series of morning sessions organized around themes that encourage discussion and are tailored to each group’s age level (Harry Potter, the environment, travel, Sherlock Holmes, American movies, TV shows, and cartoons, English-speaking celebrities, etc.).
The goal: to spark young people’s interest, pique their curiosity, and encourage them to participate and express themselves as much as possible in English - Presentation of an LEC Certificate for a Language Study Abroad Program

Activities and Recreation
- Set amidst beautiful green spaces, the campuses selected by LEC will allow young people to participate in a wide range of outdoor activities— all conducted in English— in a safe environment.
- Every afternoon (depending on the campus), students can choose from the following activities:
– Sports activities and introductions to sports from the English-speaking world, such as: baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, tennis, cricket, footy (Australian Football), dance, badminton, beach volleyball, table tennis, supervised swimming in the pool, yoga, cheerleading, orienteering in the forest, etc.
– Artistic and cultural activities, such as : theater, chess tournaments, drawing, escape games, immersion in the world of Harry Potter, DC Comics and Marvel workshops, Sherlock Holmes investigations, origami, tasting British or American pastries (pancakes, scones, etc.), etc. - Every evening, there are supervised activities typical of English-speaking cultures, such as: LEC party, karaoke, Prom Night, talent contest, casino party, BBQ party, mystery night, movie night, etc.
