The purpose of this Privacy and Data Protection Policy is to inform you about the methods LEC uses to collect your personal data and the options available to you for monitoring how that data is used.

What is personal data, and who is a data controller?

Your rights regarding your personal data

We are committed to responding to your request within one month. If your request is particularly complex, we have an additional two months to provide you with a response.

Please note that there are exceptions to the various rights listed above. For example, we are legally required to retain certain personal data about you.

In accordance with Article L.223-2 of the Consumer Code, consumers are hereby informed that they may register free of charge on the do-not-call list available at www.bloctel.gouv.fr.

Collection of Personal Data from Young Participants

Under European law, minors under the age of 13 may not, under any circumstances, give their own consent to the processing of their personal data.

In France, a minor under the age of 15 cannot consent to the processing of their personal data.

LEC is committed to protecting your children’s personal data and privacy and, as a result, does not accept any requests to register a minor on its websites without the consent of the parents and/or legal guardian.

If the parents and/or legal guardians of a minor discover that the minor has provided personal data to LEC, they are encouraged to request the deletion of the collected data by sending an email to the addresses listed in this Privacy Policy.

The transfer of your personal data outside the European Economic Area

Your personal data may be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area for the various purposes mentioned above.

LEC is committed to transferring your personal data only to countries that provide an adequate level of security.

LEC will take all necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of these transfers of personal data.

Personal data may be transferred to third countries, particularly when you book a trip for your child and the selected country is outside the European Economic Area.

Retention period for your personal data

LEC is committed to not retaining your personal data for any longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed.

The retention period for personal data varies depending on the specific categories of personal data involved.

Under a contract, the retention period for personal data begins at the end of the contractual relationship.

When your personal data is collected due to a legal obligation, or when your personal data is necessary for LEC to assert its rights or defend itself in court, LEC undertakes to retain your personal data only for as long as is strictly necessary or until any pending disputes and/or proceedings have been resolved.

When your personal data is collected based on your consent, you are free to withdraw your consent at any time by sending a letter or email to LEC at the addresses listed at the bottom of this Privacy Policy.

When your personal data is collected on the basis of a legitimate interest, LEC has a business interest in processing your personal data. This retention is limited, proportionate to the data collected, and in any case not excessive.

Revision of LEC's Privacy Policy

The LEC Charter may be updated as needed.

If there are any changes to this Privacy Policy, this page will be updated with the date of the last update. This way, you will be immediately notified of any changes to how we may process the information you have provided to us.

In the event of any conflict between different versions of the LEC Charter, the most recent version shall prevail.
