Middle School Trip to England – Music School

English classes and singing or music lessons at a beautiful English middle school Ages 11–14 / 14–17 – 6th through 11th grade

The College – Music School program is designed for anyone who wants to study at a superb English college and, in addition to three hours of English lessons per day, dreams of fully pursuing their passion for singing and/or playing a musical instrument, while enjoying a wide variety of recreational activities and evening events.

Accommodation

  1. StunningBritish secondary schools, carefully selected by our teams
  2. Comfortable rooms with 1 to 4 beds (and sometimes 4 to 6 beds for younger children)
  3. You can stay with one or more friends
  4. On campus, high-quality sports and educational facilities: green spaces, a gym, sports fields and playgrounds, a swimming pool, a theater, etc. (depending on the location)
  5. Modern and comfortable classrooms
  6. Full board with hot meals for lunch and dinner ( on excursion days, packed lunches are provided)

Class

  1. 3 hours of class per day, in the morning
  2. Classes of 12 to 15 students, formed based on a placement test
  3. Interactive courses for significant improvement in both writing and speaking
  4. Practicing speaking skills to build self-confidence
  5. Grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and listening comprehension
  6. Practical exercises, press reviews, discussions, role-playing, etc.
  7. Classes taught by a team consisting of an English-speaking teacher and a bilingual teacher, combining a variety of teaching approaches
  8. Submitting a trip report

Class 13

Supervision

  1. English and French teachers and activity leaders available 24 hours a day
  2. 1 adult for every 12 children
  3. 1 French director on site, available to parents
  4. Priorities: progress in English, youth safety and well-being

Activities and Recreation

  1. 3 art workshops per week (for musicians and/or singers), each lasting 3 hours, in the afternoon (see details below)
  2. 2 to 3 afternoons of recreational activities per week, conducted in English, during which the student chooses what they’d like to do from the following options (depending on the location):

Sports, such as: swimming, soccer, dance, volleyball, basketball, Olympic-style games, table tennis, golf, cricket, badminton, bowling, etc.
Art and leisure activities, such as: drawing, escape games, scrapbooking, arts and crafts, etc.
Cultural visits, such as: Oxford or Cambridge University, the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, Canterbury Cathedral, the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, etc.

  1. One day trip per week, such as to Cambridge, London, Bath, Oxford, Bristol, etc.
  2. Every evening, supervised activities such as: LEC Party, karaoke, trivia night, talent show, casino night, giant "Draw and Win," BBQ party, fashion show, social games, and more.

Music School Theme: A Closer Look

  1. 3 art workshops per week (for musicians and/or singers), each lasting 3 hours, in the afternoon
  2. A program designed for both beginner artists (musicians and/or singers) and experienced artists
  3. Music and/or singing lessons taught in English by certified instructors
  1. Up to the young person:

Music lessons to learn one or more instruments (drums, bass, piano, percussion, guitar, keyboard, etc.), focusing on tone, various techniques, rhythm, and more, either individually or in a group
vocal lessons to refine your technique and vocal delivery on current English or American hits, from Taylor Swift to Harry Styles, develop your tone, master your breathing, improve your pitch, etc.
