Effectively prepare for admission to a preparatory program for prestigious universities or for college entrance exams Ages 16 and up – From 11th Grade through Higher Education

The Preparatory Course for Elite Universities is designed for students who wish to prepare for the English exams required for admission to CPGE programs: Mats Sup/Spé, A/L, B/L, HEC, Sciences Po, and other higher education programs. This course aims to address any gaps in their knowledge and give their English skills a boost.

Your trip at a glance

  1. 1 or 2 students per family(your choice)
  2. 6 hours of class per day
  3. 6 students per teacher
  4. 1 guided tour led by an English-speaking guide
  5. Guided toursdeparting from nearly 30 cities

Accommodation

  1. With a family selected and visited by our local organizers
  2. Your choice: 1 or 2 French students per family (you may also stay with a friend)
  3. Families living in residential neighborhoods near the campus
  4. Full board (on weekdays, a packed lunch provided by the family at noon)

Class

  1. 6 hours of classes per day (3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon)
  2. Working groups of 6 students, organized by program
  3. Highly personalized instruction
  4. Courses taught by a team of French instructors who teach English at the higher education level (preparatory classes, engineering schools, business schools, etc.) and are thoroughly familiar with the requirements of the exams and entrance exams students are preparing for, as well as by English instructors.

Reinforce your knowledge of grammar and verb conjugation
Expand your vocabulary and improve your command of idiomatic expressions
Refine your translation skills (essays, translations, multiple-choice questions)
Practice text analysis intensively (comprehension, analysis, synthesis)
Perfect your written expression techniques (essays, dissertations)

  1. Oral Exam Preparation Program:

Improve listening comprehension by listening to video and audio content in the original language
Practice speaking persuasively through mock oral exams and interviews
Develop the specific skills needed for oral text commentary
Debate and discuss current events and major social and cultural issues

Supervision

  1. English and French teachers
