Middle School Trip to Germany – Europa-Park

Improve your German and enjoy a day at the famous Europa-Park theme park Ages 11–14 / 14–17 – 6th through 11th grade

This program combines a balanced mix of classes and activities, making it ideal for improving your German. It offers the opportunity to learn German in a unique setting through engaging, student-centered classes, while participating in a varied sports and leisure program that includes a day trip to Europa-Park.

Your trip at a glance

Accommodation

  1. Located in a beautiful residential complex ideally situated on the banks of the Rhine, featuring high-quality recreational and educational facilities: green spaces, sports fields, and playgrounds, etc.
  2. Comfortable rooms with 4 to 6 beds
  3. You can stay with one or more friends
  4. Full board with hot meals at lunch and dinner (on excursion days, a packed lunch is provided)

Class

  1. 3 hours of class per day, in the morning
  2. Classes of 12 to 15 students, formed based on a placement test
  3. Interactive courses for significant improvement in both writing and speaking
  4. Practicing speaking skills to build self-confidence
  5. Grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and listening comprehension
  6. Practical exercises, press reviews, discussions, role-playing, etc.
  7. Classes taught by a team of qualified bilingual teachers
  8. Submitting a trip report

 

Supervision

  1. Bilingual teachers and activity leaders available 24 hours a day
  2. 1 adult for every 12 children
  3. 1 French supervisor on site, available to parents
  4. Priorities: progress in German, youth safety and well-being

Activities and Recreation

  1. A one-day excursion to Europa-Park, the theme park with the most attractions in Europe. For the 10th time, Europa-Park was named “Best Theme Park in the World” in 2025 at the “Golden Ticket Awards” ceremony. The park is divided into European-themed areas. You’ll enjoy incredible attractions that will give you a thrill, including numerous roller coasters, indoor and outdoor roller coasters, interactive rides, and more.
  2. 4 to 5 afternoons of recreational activities per week, conducted in German, such as:

Sports and arts activities : tree-top adventure course , swimming, soccer, drawing, table tennis, volleyball, basketball, mini-golf, badminton, arts and crafts, etc.
Cultural outings: mini-cruise in the Taubergießen Nature Reserve, Breisach, day trip and shopping in Freiburg, etc.

Every evening, there are supervised activities, such as: LEC Party, BBQ party, Crêpes Party, trivia night, movie night, etc.
