Club 4 Vacation and Activities in Ireland

Classes and activities with an Irish teacher, in small groups of 4 students Ages 14 and up - starting in 8th grade

For the Club 4 & Activities program, we form small groups of four students. An Irish teacher will lead language classes in the morning and lead sports and cultural activities in the afternoon. In this highly supportive environment, students are constantly engaged in language use.

  • Expand your horizons internationally, experience life with a host family, and discover Irish culture
  • Guided tours departing from Nantes, Lyon, and Paris 

Your trip at a glance

  1. 1 or 2 children per family(your choice)
  2. 3 hours of class per day
  3. 4 students per teacher
  4. A variety of recreational activities (sports, field trips) led in English
  5. Guided tours departing from Nantes, Lyon, and Paris

Accommodation

  1. With a family selected and visited by our local organizers
  2. Your choice: 1 or 2 French students per family (option to stay with a friend)
  3. Families living in residential neighborhoods near the class location
  4. Full board (on weekdays, a packed lunch provided by the family at noon)

Class

  1. 3 hours of lessons per day, in the morning, at the Irish teacher's home
  2. Small groups of 4 students. In exceptional cases, and to ensure that the groups are of similar ability, they may consist of 3 or 5 students
  3. Personalized instruction
  4. Interactive courses for significant improvement in both writing and speaking
  5. Practicing speaking skills to build self-confidence
  6. Grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and listening comprehension
  7. Courses taught by an Irish instructor who holds a college degree or a qualification that allows them to teach English to non-native speakers

Family Class 6

Supervision

  1. One Irish teacher for every four students, throughout the day
  2. 1 French staff member on site, available to parents and students
  3. Priorities: progress in English, youth safety and well-being

Activities and Recreation

  1. 5 afternoons a week of recreational activities in small groups of 4, led in English by the teacher, such as (depending on the location) :

cultural visits, such as: Trinity College in Dublin, a tour of Wicklow, Malahide Castle, etc.

sports, such as: swimming, table tennis, bowling, mini-golf, etc.
