Family Immersion Stay & Excursions in Ireland

Experience a homestay with an Irish family and enjoy excursions with your host family Ages 13–17 – 7th through 10th grade

The Family Immersion & Excursions program is designed for young people who want to experience life within an Irish family while enjoying excursions with their host family. These stays, which do not include English classes, offer the chance to discover a new way of life from the inside, all while practicing English in everyday situations. It’s the perfect way to improve your skills and feel more comfortable speaking English, all while deepening your understanding of Irish culture through excursions organized and supervised by the family!

Accommodation

  1. With afamily selected and visited by our local organizers
  2. Choose between: 1 or 2 French students per family (option to stay with a friend)

  4. This program, which focuses on living with a host family, is designed for motivated and independent young people

Supervision

  1. Each group is accompanied by a French leader
  2. He stays on site for the entire duration of the trip and can bereached by parents and students

Family Immersion and Excursions

  1. Sharing the family's daily activities
  2. Each week, with your host family: 1 full-day excursion + 2 half-day excursions packed with activities and fun, such as (depending on the location):
    1. Cultural highlights: Trinity College, the National Gallery of Ireland, the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, Achill Island, Clifden, the archaeological site at the Hill of Tara, Aillwee Cave (one of Ireland’s largest and most famous caves), Athlone Castle, the Moate Museum, and more.
    2. A variety of leisure activities: Dublin Zoo , bowling, theater, movies, water sports, nature walks, go-karting, and more.

 

Places to stay

  1. The students will mainly stay in small or medium-sized towns, generally located away from large cities and major urban centers. In fact, families in these towns are more available and offer our students a warm and welcoming reception.
