The "Discover Miami on an International Campus" program is designed for young people who want to study and experience life on an authentic American campus, in the heart of a dynamic and international environment. Participants enjoy a wide range of classes, activities, and evening events, while exploring Miami and enjoying a two-day excursion to Orlando.

Accommodation

  1. Thebeautiful Barry University campus, located just a few miles from the beach
  2. Comfortable rooms with 1 to 4 beds
  3. The presence of students from various countries on campus
  4. You can stay with one or more friends
  5. A wide range of modern facilities and amenities (green spaces, a swimming pool, a gym, etc.)
  6. Full board with hot meals for lunch and dinner ( on excursion days, packed lunches are provided)

Class

  1. 15 hours of class per week
  2. Classes of 15 students, formed based on a placement test
  3. Interactive courses for significant improvement in both writing and speaking
  4. Practicing speaking skills to build self-confidence
  5. Grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and listening comprehension
  6. Courses taught by a team of qualified American instructors

Supervision

  1. American and French teachers and activity leaders available 24 hours a day
  2. 1 adult for every 15 young people
  3. 1 French supervisor on site, available to parents
  4. Priorities: progress in English, youth safety and well-being

Activities and Recreation

  1. Every week, there are numerous tours and recreational activities conducted in English, such as:
    Cultural tours in Miami, such as: Design District, South Beach, Boat Tour, Frost Science Museum, Fort Lauderdale, Everglades National Park, Gator Park, etc.
    Sports and recreational activities on campus, such as: swimming, soccer, dance, arts and crafts, basketball, baseball, etc.
  2. LEC Exclusive Plus, a 2-day excursion to Orlando included ( featuring NASA Kennedy Space Center and Disney Springs)
  3. Supervised evening events held as part of tours/excursions or on campus. During campus events, activities such as: international parties, karaoke, social games, talent contests, etc.
