LEC: Competent and Effective Teaching and Support Staff

Depending on the country and the type of stay, they consist of:
  1. Indigenous teachers with teaching credentials, qualified to teach their language to non-native speakers
  2. Qualified bilingual teachers, offering a variety of teaching approaches
  3. Dynamic and experienced facilitators, selected for their motivation and experience
  4. Local coordinators living in the various host cities, selected for their sense of responsibility and their skills, who maintain constant communication with the teachers, activity leaders, and our offices in Paris.

A dedicated team that’s always there to help (24/7 in case of an emergency)

  1. LEC team members are available 24/7 in case of an emergency throughout the duration of the stay
  2. Teachers and counselors who are available and committed to the well-being and successful integration of every young person
  3. Special attention is given toeach student’s personal growth, both during classes and during field trips and recreational activities

A rigorous selection and training process

  1. A rigorous recruitment process for a thorough selection
  2. Individual assessment of candidates and selection through personal interviews
  3. Emphasis on skills, motivation, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to supervise
  4. Participation in a training session to learn how to apply the requirements of the LEC and to receive training on the responsibilities of French management

The Role of LEC Management Teams

While education and safety are our teams’ top priorities, they also ensure the well-being and smooth integration of every student into the group. As such, special attention is given toeach student’s personal growth, both during classes and during the excursions and activities included in the program. Available throughout the stay, our teams are also ready to answer any questions you or the students may have.
