With the "one teacher per student" program, the student enjoys a language immersion experience in a host family, with private lessons taught by a family member who is a certified teacher. Students can thus improve their English skills through 2 or 3 hours of daily private lessons held Monday through Friday. Staying with a teacher is an ideal way to make rapid progress in both written and spoken English.

Class

  1. Choose between 2 or 3 hours of private lessons per day

  3. Skills assessment conducted at the beginning of the stay to develop an educational plan tailored to the young person’s level and needs
  4. Customized lessons with the option to tailor the curriculum to the topics the student wishes to focus on
  5. Courses taught by a Canadian instructor who holds a college or university degree or a certification that qualifies them to teach English to non-native speakers
  6. Submitting a trip report

Activities and Recreation

Tour Package*

  1. 3 cultural outings per week with your host family, such as: The Royal Ontario Museum, the CN Tower, the Ontario Science Centre, Kensington Market, the Eaton Centre, Graffiti Alley, etc.

*IMPORTANT: This option is mandatory for young people under the age of 18 on the day of departure.

Independent travel

For individual travel, participants are responsible for arranging, booking, and paying for their own transportation.
