One-on-one study abroad program in the U.S. with individual travel arrangements

Private lessons and homestay with the teacher's family. Flexible scheduling: duration, dates, and transportation Ages 16 and up

With the "one teacher per student" program, the student enjoys a language immersion experience in a host family, with private lessons taught by a family member who is a certified teacher. Students can thus improve their English skills through 2 or 3 hours of daily private lessons held Monday through Friday. Staying with a teacher is an ideal way to make rapid progress in both written and spoken English.

  1. Choose between 2 or 3 hours of private lessons per day

  3. Skills assessment conducted at the beginning of the stay to develop an educational plan tailored to the young person’s level and needs
  4. Customized lessons, with the option to tailor the lessons to the topics the student wishes to focus on
  5. Courses taught by an American instructor who holds a college degree or a certification that qualifies them to teach English to non-native speakers

Activities and Recreation

    – Boston: MIT Museum, Freedom Trail walking tour, campus tour, Museum of Science, etc.
    – Los Angeles: Museum of Art, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Griffith Observatory, Planes of Fame Air Museum, etc.
  4. See also the stay with the New York Tour Package Option*: 3 cultural tours per week with your host family, such as (depending on the location):
    – New York: 9/11 Memorial & Ground Zero, Museum of Modern Art, Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, etc.

*IMPORTANT: This option is mandatory for young people under the age of 18 on the day of departure.

Independent travel

For individual travel, participants are responsible for arranging, booking, and paying for their own transportation.

  1. Pickup and Transfer Option*: Pickup of the young person upon arrival in the United States and transfer to their family (same service provided upon return): €305 round-trip
