Middle School Study Abroad Program in England – Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The Artificial Intelligence-themed Middle School Program is designed for anyone who wants to study at a superb English middle school and, in addition to three hours of English classes per day, wishes to explore and understand the fascinating world of artificial intelligence, while also enjoying a wide variety of recreational activities and evening social events.

Accommodation
- Stunning British secondary schools,carefully selected by our teams
- Comfortable rooms with 1 to 4 beds (and sometimes 4 to 6 beds for younger children)
- You can stay with one or more friends
- On campus, there are high-quality sports and educational facilities, including green spaces, a gymnasium, sports fields and playgrounds, a swimming pool, a theater, and more (depending on the location).
- Modern and comfortable classrooms
- Full board with hot meals for lunch and dinner ( on excursion days, packed lunches are provided)

Class
- 3 hours of class per day, in the morning
- Classes of 12 to 15 students, formed based on a placement test
- Interactive courses for significant improvement in both writing and speaking
- Practicing speaking skills to build self-confidence
- Grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and listening comprehension
- Practical exercises, press reviews, discussions, role-playing, etc.
- Classes taught by a team consisting of an English-speaking teacher and a bilingual teacher, combining a variety of teaching approaches
- Sending a trip summary

Supervision
- English and French teachers and activity leaders available 24 hours a day
- 1 adult for every 12 children
- 1 French director on site, available to parents
- Priorities: progress in English, youth safety and well-being

An Introduction to the World of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Other Leisure Activities
- 3 sessions per week, conducted in English, to help you better understand and use artificial intelligence tools ( see details below)
- 2 to 3 afternoons of leisure activities per week, conducted in English, during which students can choose what they’d like to do from the following recreational activities, such as:
– Sports: tennis, swimming, soccer, dance, volleyball, Olympic-style games, table tennis, golf, cricket, badminton, bowling, etc.
– Arts and leisure activities: drawing, escape rooms, scrapbooking, crafts, etc.
– Cultural tours: Oxford or Cambridge University, the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, the Roman Baths in Bath, etc.
- One day trip per week, such as: Cambridge, London, Bath, Oxford, Bristol, etc.
- Every evening, supervised activities such as: LEC party, karaoke, trivia night, talent show, casino night, giant "Draw and Win," BBQ party, fashion show, social games, etc.
Topic: Artificial Intelligence
- 3 two-hour sessions per week, in the afternoon, in English
- This program is open to everyone; no prior knowledge of artificial intelligence is required
- Learn how large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity learn to understand human language and generate content
- Interactive activitiessuch as: creating a chatbot, generating images or videos using AI, exploring the basics of voice and visual recognition, a futuristic escape game where AI will be both your ally and a challenge to overcome, and more,
- Introduction to or advanced training in the art of the prompt,
- Creative and brainstorming workshops such as: creating augmented reality cards, writing a script for a short film, composing a song, designing an Instagram filter, etc.
- Raising awareness about how to spot fake news,
- Discussions and gamesexploring the impact of AI on daily life, social media, video games, and more.
