Baccalaureate Prep Program and Activities in England
The "Baccalaureate Prep and Activities" program is specifically designed for students who want to thoroughly prepare for the ongoing assessments required for the baccalaureate. By familiarizing themselves with these assessments and practicing for them, students can give themselves the best possible chance of success on their baccalaureate English exams.

Accommodation
- With a family selected and visited by our local organizers
- Your choice: 1 or 2 French students per family (option to stay with a friend)

- Full board (on weekdays, a packed lunch provided by the family at noon)
Class
- 4 hours of class per day, in the morning
- Classes of 8 to 10 students, formed based on a placement test
- Preparation program for the ongoing assessment exams for the Baccalaureate:
- Practice Exercises for the Core Curriculum Exams
- Practice exercises for tests assessing the four language skills:
– Listening comprehension, through linguistic analysis and writing summaries in French
– Reading comprehension of written documents and techniques for writing summaries in English
– Methods for writing texts related to the topic chosen for the project and expanding thematic vocabulary
– Practice in continuous speech and interactive conversation based on given topics - Grammar refresher course
- Submitting a trip report
Supervision
- English and French teachers and instructors
- 1 adult for every 12 children
- 1 French staff member on site, available to parents and students
- Priorities: progress in English, youth safety and well-being
Activities and Recreation
- 5 afternoons of recreational activities per week, led in English, such as (depending on the location):
– sports, such as: tennis, swimming, bowling, soccer, table tennis, volleyball, basketball, mini-golf, badminton, etc.
– cultural visits, such as: the University of Oxford or Cambridge, the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, Canterbury Cathedral, the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, etc.

- A one-day excursion ( depending on your location), such as: London, Cambridge, Oxford, or Brighton, etc.
