A touch of magic for this educational yet fun trip, thanks to a tour of the Harry Potter Studios at Warner Bros. Ages 11–14 / Ages 14–17 – 6th through 11th grade

This program combines a balanced mix of classes and activities, making it ideal for improving your English. It offers the opportunity to learn the language of Shakespeare in a unique setting through engaging classes tailored to the students’ levels, while participating in a varied sports and leisure program, including a visit to the Warner Bros. Studios dedicated to the world of Harry Potter in London.

Accommodation

  1. With a family selected and visited by our local organizers
  2. Your choice: 1 or 2 French students per family (option to stay with a friend)
  3. Families living in residential neighborhoods near the campus
  4. Full board (on weekdays, a packed lunch provided by the family at noon)

Class

  1. 3 hours of class per day, in the morning
  2. Classes of 12 to 15 students, formed based on a placement test
  3. Interactive courses for significant improvement in both writing and speaking
  4. Practicing speaking skills to build self-confidence
  5. Classes taught by a team consisting of an English-speaking teacher and a bilingual teacher, combining a variety of teaching approaches
  6. The English classes will, in part, cover topics related to the world of Harry Potter
  7. Submitting a trip report

Supervision

  1. English and French teachers and instructors
  2. 1 adult for every 12 children
  3. 1 French staff member on site, available to parents and students
  4. Priorities: progress in English, youth safety and well-being

Activities and Recreation

  1. 5 afternoons of recreational activities per week, led in English, such as (depending on the location):

Sports, such as: tennis, swimming, bowling, soccer, table tennis, mini-golf, etc.
Cultural tours, such as: Oxford or Cambridge University, the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, etc.

  1. 1-day excursion (for 2-week stays): London, Bath, Oxford, etc.
